I just got my order from Darling Girl Cosmetics and I couldn't be happier with the quality and service! I ordered during her Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale (Nov 28) and received my packages Friday (Dec 13), well under the time around time.
I ordered a full size of London Calling and minis of The Mummy from the "Oh the Horror" collection and My own, my love, my precious from "Nerdvana". Even on sale, I also got a generous GWP (Gift with Purchase) of Ugh, Candied Yams and a sample of My Three Witches. It was packaged extremely well, with a handwritten note, business card, sticker, and sifters!
Disclosure: I purchased this order and opinions are my own.
For all swatches, 1st is over bare skin, 2nd over ELF primer, 3rd over ELF + Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Darling Girl The Mummy:
The Mummy is a gorgeous light champagne gold with small flashes of purple glitter. If you like neutrals with a bit of a kick, you might love this as much as I do!
Darling Girl My own, my love, my precious:
My own, my love, my precious is a dark antiqued gold that will look great in the crease. Think of Urban Decay Smog x 10000.
Darling Girl Ugh, Candied Yams:
I was kind of worried about this bright orange color but it is actually really flattering for green eyes. This also has a bit of purple shimmer in it that you can see when the light hits it.
Darling Girl My Three Witches:
This is a lighter version of The Mummy (woo samples that coordinate!). It is really nice as an allover wash color for lids, you can't go wrong.
Darling Girl London Calling:
This is a blue-based purple-y copper. This beats Mephisto out of the park in terms of ease of use and opacity. LOVE! Order this color for some eyeshadow color drama!
Overall, I have been testing out these colors and have been really impressed with the quality and pigment. I can't wait to try out some more from Darling Girl Cosmetics!
