Tarina Tarantino Haul

About a month ago, I was lucky enough to win a blog contest from Gabriella of the LA Fashion Blog! I just received the amazing set of Tarina Tarantino makeup yesterday:

Keep reading to see my quick take and swatches!

Tarina Tarantino Jewel Eyeshadow Palette in Violet Storm: At first, I was a bit skeptical about the colors when I saw it online. In person, though, these colors are INSANELY beautiful and soft. The blue glitter color comes off less like Mimi from Drew Carey and more like a blurple with faint shimmer. The first day I got this, I used the light pale pink (left) with the light purple (right), and the dark purple (bottom) in the crease. It was really easy to blend, and lasted 16+ hours.

Tarina Tarantino Hyperliner in Glamorous Thief : This eyeliner is incredibly smooth and vibrantly-pigmented. This formula takes a while to set, but is otherwise just as good as Urban Decay and MUFE (Make Up For Ever).  If you love unique eyeliner colors, you may want to check it out.

Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Hyperlight: It is really annoying when I find a high-end product that is perfect. So nearly perfect that you can justify the $$$ purchase price! The salmon colored concealer melts into my under-eye area, and seems to leave it more hydrated. It's much more natural than some of the yellow-toned concealers I have been using. My only gripe is the clicky-applicator pen, which can quickly go from "just enough" to "way too much" product in a single movement.

Tarina Tarantino Palette from L to R, Glamorous Thief, Hyperlight
Tarina Tarantino Fleur De Lash Mascara: I haven't tried this yet as I am currently loving my newly opened Rimmel Scandaleyes RetroGlam. Will test and review much later!
