If you don't appreciate what you have now, how will more help?
This, at first glance, can seem like fortune cookie wisdom. It's obvious that more love, money, or something else would help. Right?
I have been thinking about this idea for a long time. It may be pessimistic, but it could always get worse.
You may have nothing but one good friend-but that's better than none at all.
You may have nothing but your health-but that's more than many other people right now.
Not appreciating what you have is a mindset. You could have everything in the world, but it may seem like nothing without a mindset of gratitude. You can always have or obtain "more", but will you appreciate it?
