How is everything going with you? 

This past week has been really great for me in terms of focusing on my health. I've been cooking a lot more (trying to get my knife skills and egg game on point again!). I may not necessarily see the results yet in my clothes, but everything tastes so much better.

I did treat myself today to a huge cup of hot chocolate after shoveling outside. (I never said I was perfect!). So good. If you are in the mood for dairy-free hot chocolate, just mix 2.5 cups soy milk, 3 tablespoons Ghiradelli Cocoa Powder, 3 tablespoons sugar, pinch of cayenne, pinch of salt (don't be heavy handed here), pinch of cinnamon and heat! 

I also am trying to work on "feeding" myself better intellectually. It is so easy to get caught up in the negativity spiral and get out of control. Instead, I am actively reaching out and thanking those motivational sources that have helped me in difficult times. 

I am also excited to have been chosen as a new member of the #Sweatpink community! This is a fitness community focused exactly on that "good brain food" I just mentioned: it is a really positive health community for women.
